Rental Policy
Cash or Credit Card Deposit Required
A deposit may be required for backline rentals without a technician. This agreement authorizes Salt Lake Backline to use the credit card on file for any loss or damage to the equipment rented. A valid drivers license or state issued ID required.
All prices are “Per Day”. A one week rental is daily rate times four. A one day fee is minimum for any piece of rented equipment.
Insurance is Not Provided
Renter of equipment accepts full liability for any loss or cost of repair. Insurance coverage is the responsibility of the renter. In case of repair, renter pays full repair costs.
Renter Responsibilities
All rental equipment is checked by our staff to insure proper working conditions prior to leaving the premises. Salt Lake Backline must be notified immediately in the case of equipment difficulties at (801) 413-3675. Failure to do so may result in a full rental charge. Salt Lake Backline assumes no liability for equipment failure and/or availability. The renter is responsible for the proper care and operation of the equipment, as well as the return of all included accessories.
Late Returns
Equipment returned after the due time often creates problems for the next renter(s). Therefore, a $10 late fee will be assessed once the equipment is 1/2 hour late. If it is one or more hours late, additional day(s) will be charged at the full day rate. Rentals returned more than one day late will be billed at 1.5x the daily rate. A $25 cleaning fee will be charged for equipment that is returned dirty.
If excessive cleaning is required, additional fees may be assessed at the discretion of Salt Lake Backline rental employees.
